JV2 earns exciting win on the road, 9-6
Led by goal-keeper Kayla Lyons with an incredible 16 saves, the JV2 girls extended their record to 2-0 with a fun (and a bit chilly) win on the road at Austin Prep, 9-6.
Co-captain for the day Lilah Velez did an incredible job on draw controls and notched four goals of her own to lead all scorers. Ninth grader Emma Sharon followed with a hat trick. Anaya Sharma and Aria Carrizosa scored their first goals of the season as well.
Defensively, the team was led by co-captain Carys Harvin and Niki Jovanovic with great support from Ellie Patton (2 blocked shots) and Jayden Roos.
