Big Blue falls short in comeback attempt
After a slow start on the road against a fast and talented Nobles team, the Big Blue found themselves down 0-3 in the third period. Digging deep, the team answered with a dominant third period, scoring twice to bring the game back within reach. Captain Keira Bruen '26 tipped in a Kimee Duplessis '27 shot (second assist to Maya Kou '28) for the first goal at the 12:37 mark, and 5 minutes later Duplessis jumped up to finish a 3 on 2 rush with assists from Captain Caroline Averill '26 and Sarah Powers '26. Andover had chances right up until the final seconds, but Nobles held on for the 3-2 victory.
Marie Lee '28 had a great game between the pipes, turning away 21 shots while keeping Andover in the game. The team is off this weekend and will host Loomis next Wednesday.
