Varsity Field Hockey at NEPSAC Class A Championship vs. #1 Taft

Taft Edges Andover

In the championship game of Class A, Taft edged Andover by a 3-2 score. Taft scored the lone goal of the first half as the Andover defense and goalie Josie Sarno '26 stood tall. Midway through the third quarter PAFH scored two goals in a minute to take a 2-1 lead. Taft answered right back with a tying goal and closed out the third quarter with the winning goal off a stroke. Neither team was able to capitalize on their fourth quarter chances. Congratulations to Taft on their championship season.

Andover finishes the season 17-2 and set a new record for goals in a season with 97 and a plus goal differential of 85! Huge credit to PAFH's two seniors Captain Shea Freda and Ava Murphy for their tireless effort and stellar play all season.
