Great win on a beautiful fall day.
On October 3rd, Andover matched up against Tabor Academy. Early in the first quarter, co-captain Sophia P. made a pass to Katherine C., who skillfully shot the ball with a reverse, bringing to score to 1-0. During the second quarter, our goalie Izzy W. blocked a goal, maintaining Andover’s lead. Tabor scored against us during the third quarter, but we didn’t let that dim our spirits. Annie R. had an amazing clear to end the quarter. Our teamwork skills really shined during the fourth and final quarter. Sabrina B. dribbled her way to the goal, scoring Andover’s second goal. To really secure the win, Clara G. lifted the ball during a corner, allowing Sophia P. to hit it out of the air and into the goal. Andover won the game!
