First game of the season a 2-0 win against Pingree on turf
On Wednesday, September 23rd, JV Field Hockey faced Pingree on home turf. It was an even matchup in the first half, with lots of back and forth play and multiple corners. With 7 minutes left in the third quarter, junior Eve Kirkman used a sweep to make the score 1-0. Building off the momentum, junior Clara Go scored in the 8th minute of the 3rd with a reverse. This win wouldn’t have been possible without Bea Bielenberg, our goalie. She had incredible kick saves to shut out Pingree and secure the 2-0 win.
