tough competition ends in a tie
On Wednesday, Phillips Academy JV Field Hockey traveled to Governor's Academy for an intense game of field hockey. PA started off the first quarter with great passes and speed, which led to the first goal being made within the first 4 minutes of the game by lower Al Hartmann. PA continued to keep the energy up throughout the game and were not easily discouraged when Governor's scored 2 points during the second quarter of the game, leaving the halftime score as 2-1 Governor's. Instead the team rallied together and showed some serious hustle on the field, creating the perfect atmosphere for junior Katherine Cooke to score another goal for PA halfway through the 3rd quarter. The game ended in a tie: a great example of Andover determination.
