Andover honors 15 members of the class of 2024 at Senior Night

Andover honored 15 seniors at it’s last home dual meet of the season against Nobles. We started the dual meet at 190 lbs, and we lost the first 3 matches, trailing 0-18 to Nobles. At 106 Julian Rios ’26 put our first team points on the board with a first period pin, making the team score 6-18. At 113 Eva Murphy ’25 earned a forfeit, and the team score improved 12-18. At 120 co-captain Sakina Cotton ’24 pinned her opponent in the 3rd period, tying up the team score 18-18. We lost at the next two matches, and at 138 Ethan Principal ’24 was able to secure a pin, and at 144 Dani Nugent ’25 also earned a second period pin, tying up the score 30-30. At 150 Elliot Chung ’24 lost a tough 6-10 battle, and Nobles took the lead 30-33. Unfortunately Andover lost the next 3 matches and couldn’t catch up, losing the dual 30-51.
