Andover defeats Concord 65-15
Andover defeated Concord Academy today at home 65-15. At 106 Serra Akyali ’28 started us off with a first period pin, and at 113 Devin Akyali ’29 and at 120 Christian Robinson ’28 both followed up with quick pins of their own. At 126 Julian Rios ’26 won by forfeit, and at 132 Narek Hambardzumyan ’26 won by pin. At 138 Caleb Beroukhim ’27 won by technical fall with an 18-2 match, and at 144 Reese York ’26 won by pin. At 157 James Bae ’26 won by pin, and at 190 Shock Ingram ’26 also won by pin. At 215 and 285 Daniel Rhee ’29 and Geza Labancz ’26 both won by forfeit. Andover only lost three matches in the dual meet. In subsequent exhibition matches Andover won 6 of the 9 matches, with wins from Gentry Thatcher ’27, Declan Paraguya ’29, Willy Park ’26, Margaret Tsien ’26, Tasha Bohorad ’26, and Bella Shmuylovich ’26.
