Four Andover wrestlers competed in the Beast of the East today: Brady Haskell '28, James Bae '26, Caleb Beroukhim '27, and Devin Akyali '29. Brady Haskell '28 led the way at 126 lbs. He lost his first round match, but then bounced back to win four matches in a row, with a 9-0 major decision, a 25 second pin, a 41 second pin, and a 17-1 tech fall in 2:31. He then lost his fifth and final match of the day 2-8 to the 3 seed. With a 4-2 record for the day, Haskell had a great tournament, but ultimately did not place.
Bae '26, Beroukhim '27, and Akyali '29 also competed well for Andover, but all went 0-2 in a tough tournament.
