6 Andover wrestlers go undefeated at JV event
On Wednesday afternoon Andover wrestling hosted Exeter, St. Paul’s, and Governor’s for some JV matches. Christian Robinson ’28 had a great showing, earning a 17-1 technical fall and a 16-0 technical fall against his opponents from St. Paul’s and Exeter. Grace Kim ’27 also had a great day, with a pin and a 10-0 major decision. Cindy Zhou ’27 also had two pins of her own, and Lisa DeBoer ’26 won a tough 7-0 decision over an opponent she previously lost to. Willy Park ’26 won a match by pin, and won a decisive 7-0 match. Sean Choi ’27 went 1-0 with a quick pin. Toni Elliott ’27 went 1-1, and her first match was a come-from-behind pin that got the crowd cheering. David Siahaan ’27 also went 1-1, with a 4-1 victory over his opponent from Governor’s.
