BXC Takes the Win in SPS Quad Meet

On an ideal New England cross country day in Concord, NH, the Andover boys took the Varsity and JV wins against NMH, Austin Prep, and St. Paul's School.

Max Huang ('24) had another brilliant performance for Andover up front, taking the win with an assured race--and a blistering final 1.1 miles. Luke Williamson ('25) took second for PA and second overall with another tough performance, and Jakob Kuelps ('25) rounded out the Andover 1-2-3 finish with an excellent final acceleration. Robert Budzinski ('26) and Luke Francis ('25) took seventh and eighth overall to put PA's scoring five all in the top ten. BXC's sixth Emmet McEvilley ('24), with a strong PR, also finished inside the top ten, and Magnus Julin ('25), continuing his steady upward trajectory, was PA's seventh runner. All of that good racing added up to a BXC win on the Varsity side.

The JV runners continued the excellent racing, taking a commanding win as well. Among many great races, BXC saw personal bests from Sami Tokat ('26), Henry Zimmerman ('27), Adrian Werner ('25), Jack Gonzalez ('27), Aaron Portelance ('27), Matt Robinson ('27), Sebastian Vermut ('27), Alfonso Gonzalez-Cano ('27), Oliver Sommer ('24), Will Unetich ('27), Jay Jung ('27), Kai Wang ('27), Bryan Bu ('26), Christian Estrada ('27), Will Chu ('26), and Jackson Hersom ('27).
