BXC Opens Season at Manchester Invitational

PAXC kicked off the 2025 season on Saturday at the always-exciting Manchester Invitational at Derryfield Park. Competing in four races throughout the day, BXC raced 31 runners, 14 of whom were racing for the first time with PAXC.

Charlie Gillick ('27) and Robert Budzinski ('26) led the way for the varsity squad, finishing within 10 seconds of each other. They were followed by five new additions to the varsity seven. They placed 18^th out of 35 varsity teams.

BXC's JV squad had an excellent outing as well, taking 7^th out of 43 teams. The JV team had two particularly exceptional finishes: Amadeus Meinecke (’27) finished 10^th and Tiger Wang (’29) finished 32^nd out of 331 runners.

PAXC’s next meet will be the first of two home meets this season, hosting Choate on Saturday, 10/4, on the Great Lawn.
