PATF closes out 2026 season with loss to Exeter
Andover's boys team hosted Exeter in the latest edition of the decades-long rivalry between the schools but were on the losing end of the score, 116-29. Exeter stormed to the team title at Interschols the previous week.
As it was the last day in Andover blue for nine PATF members, it is only fitting that our two event wins came from seniors: Sean Kim '26 took the 800m in a personal best 2:00.94, and Bennett Rodgers '26 claimed the top spot in triple jump with a lifetime best 42' 0.25".
Fellow senior Kishan Clarke had a strong day with third-place finishes in both the 100m (11.27) and 200m (22.71 personal best) and joined with Kim, Tyler Baty '27 and Quentin Cynn '28 on the 4x100m team that turned in a season-best 42.90.
Cynn later was second in the 400m in 51.20, another personal best.
In the final race of the day, the 4x400m squad of Baty, Cynn, Sean Pao '26 and Kim posted the fastest Andover relay time in 20 years, 3:23.80.
Personal bests were the theme of the day, highlighting the hard work the boys put in over the course of the season. There were 48 total PBs from 41 athletes; seven athletes celebrated earning two bests in the meet.
