Solid win vs Wildcats

Meriden, NH - The Big Blue visit traveled to play against the strong KUA team. Although the Wildcats started the game with great energy, Jack Alexander '25, Garrett Holman '24, had different plans on the day. Jack made great saves in goal, and Garrett led his back four line beautifully to shut down the home side's offense.

On the offensive side, Ellis Denby started things off by sending a beautiful through ball to Kai Myles, who calmly collected the pass and put it past two defenders and the goalkeeper. Zane Matraji scored the second goal of the game after following a cross that was deflected and left bouncing outside of the 18-yard box. Running towards the bouncing ball, Matraji took his chance and hit a low rocket of a shot that the goalkeeper could not reach, making the score 2-0.

Kai Myles added his second goal of the day after receiving yet another through-ball from Ellis Denby, who was a nightmare for the Wildcats. Myles calmly collected the ball, headed home, and beat the keeper to the near post. Zane Matraji made it 4-0 after receiving a beautiful ball from Marc Nelson, who has been playing superb soccer these last two weeks.

Spencer Madge gave a great effort upon entering the game, and Ryan Lam and Elijah Robinson also put forth a solid effort on the day. Overall, it was an excellent performance by the Big Blue team. Next game is another road game against the Seawolves from Tabor Academy. Forward, they go.
