Andover Claims Victory and School Records in First Home Meet of 2022
Phillips Academy Track and Field had a successful day on Wednesday against Governor's Academy and Landmark School. Complete results can be found here: https://www.athletic.net/Track.
Andover Boys won with 100 points, with Governor's Boys taking 2nd (13 points) and Landmark Boys earning 7 points overall.
Andover Girls won with 91 points, with Governor's Girls earning 30 points, and Landmark Girls finishing in 3rd overall.
Four PATF athletes set new program records, including captain Charlotte Whitehurst ‘22, who claimed the school and Snyder Center records in the 2 mile (11:14), Daniel Bae ‘23, who now holds the 300m school record (37.03), and Tam Gavenas ‘25 and Naima Reid ‘25, who each claimed 9th grade class records in the 600m and 1000m respectively.
PATF will return to competition on Saturday 1/22, when Andover will host the NEPSTA All-Comers Meet, which will bring together athletes from NEPSAC schools across all divisions. Events will begin at 2:30pm.
