Backchecking, Breakouts, PK, Lord lead to victory over Cushing
Senior D-man and assistant captain's Louis-Felix Beaulieu mid-second period score off fellow assistant captain's Alex Small's rifled shot from the opposite side of the rink held up as the team fought off 5 Cushing power plays. Goaltender Eddie Lord's phenomenal play was instrumental in holding off high-powered Cushing. Throughout the game, our forwards did an excellent job of back-checking, preventing their guys opportunities to make or finish plays. Tyler Miocevich led the D corp in initiating clean breakouts.
