Andover JV drops home opener to St. John's
A tough St. John's Prep team rolled into Andover and came away with a 26-8 victory. Andover's only touchdown came on an 85-yard kickoff return by Brady Haskell '28. Andover's defense started the game strong when Gaven Morales '29 had a touchdown-saving interception early in the game. The following defensive series, Andover's defensive line pressured the St. John's QB, culminating in a sack by Hogeun Rhee '29 for a huge 4th down stop in the red zone. But turnovers and poor tackling plagued Big Blue for rest of the afternoon, and St. John's offensive attack prevailed.
