Andover JV Falls at Home 12-21 to Rival Exeter
In a tough defensive struggle, Exeter’s ground game made the difference in the contest. Andover got on the board with a 63-yard TD strike from Thomas Perri ’29 to Brady Haskell ’28. Perri also found Haskell for Andover’s second score, a 70-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter. The score remained 12-14 until late in the 4th quarter, when Exeter was able to cross the goal line again for the deciding touchdown. Andover’s defense played hard all game and forced two turnovers, including an interception by Juris Vitols Anzola ‘27. However, key missed tackles on defense and a few offensive turnovers were too much to overcome against a solid Exeter squad. The team finished the season 2-3-1.
