Fahey induced a groundout from Logan to get the last out. Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue got on the board in the first inning after Krystofolski singled, scoring one run. Doherty earned the win for Big Blue. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking none. Napolitano took the loss for Cushing Academy. The reliever went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out two and walking two. Logan stepped on the bump first for Cushing Academy. The hurler gave up two hits and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Fahey collected the save. Ulicny led Phillips Academy Varsity Big Blue with two hits in three at bats. Krystofolski, Shampine, and Ulicny each drove in one run for Big Blue. Big Blue was sure handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Callahan had the most chances in the field with 11. Cooper and Asadoorian were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Cushing Academy.
