Two more Phillips Academy seniors gathered with their family, friends, teammates, and coaches in to celebrate the signing of their NCAA National Letters of Intent (NLI), committing to continue their athletic careers at scholarship-granting institutions. Five of their classmates gathered to celebrate their NLI signings in the fall.

The Phillips Academy athletes who celebrated the signing of their NLIs this spring included a wrestler: Tayla Tildsley ’23 (Billerica, MA) Sacred Heart University, and a basketball player: Colby Duggan ’23 (Monson, MA) Campbell University.

“We are pleased to recognize two more members of our senior class signing National Letters of Intent. Each year, on these occasions, we also make sure to recognize that no one achieves anything alone, and thus, we equally celebrate the parents, grandparents, siblings, coaches, friends, and teammates who play important roles in this achievement”.

Lisa Joel DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS

*Please Note: The NCAA Division 1 Ivy League and United States Service Academies do not participate in the NLI program, nor do NCAA Division 3 institutions. In addition, many Andover student-athletes receive merit-based scholarships and are recruited to join teams at their colleges and universities. The Phillips Academy Athletic Department plans to gather and celebrate the accomplishments of all of our non-NLI student-athletes later in the spring.
