Yesterday saw the New England Prep Division 1 Track & Field Championships, and the opening day of the Big East softball tournament on-campus while girls' and boys' tennis, girls' lacrosse, and Andover's ultimate teams were on the road in tournament play of their own.
Spring tournament action continues today as on-campus action includes the number one-seeded girls' varsity tennis hosting Hoosac School for the New England Prep Class A title at 11 AM, and softball hoping to ride yesterday's success into knockout play in the Big East tournament at 12 PM (other Big East play begins at 9 AM). Off-campus, number two-seeded baseball will play Dexter-Southfield at Worcester Academy in the semifinals of the CNEPBL tournament at 11:30 AM (the title game is at 2:30 PM if Andover advances), fifth-seeded boy's tennis begins Class A tournament play at Taft at 9:30 AM, and girls' lacrosse will return to Prep Cup play with a 9:30 AM face-off at Dexter-Southfield, looking to build off their win there yesterday.
