Great job to our girls’ tennis program as all three teams went undefeated on the week - shout out to our tennis coaches Katy Lambson (Varsity A, pictured, inset), Erika Temple (Varsity B), and Talia Natoli and Maya Saidel (JV). The Varsity B girls swept St. Paul’s on Wednesday with wins at singles from Ryan Levine, Kristen Ma, Doris Lu, Manalee Chowdhury, and Nicole Murphy, and so too wins for doubles partners, Paige Zhu-Gemma Park, Gia Estrada-Camille Davis, and Samantha Hale-Anna Lu. The Varsity A girls’ tennis team (pictured above) is on fire - undefeated at 5-0 with the last four matches being clean-sweeps (36 wins)! Leading the way for Varsity A are captains Kendra Tomala and Evelyn Kung.
Boys’ Varsity B tennis kicked off the season with a 6-3 victory over St. Paul's. Singles points were earned by Will Unetich, David Song, Nathan Wu, Sahi Kathika, Gaven Morales, and Matthew Wei.
On Wednesday afternoon, cycling opened its season at N.H. Motor Speedway in Loudon. In the Boys’ A race, Frank Hu finished 8, followed by co-captain Matt Robinson (9 and co-captain David Porto(11 ). In the boys’ B race, Henry Wall finished fifth for the Big Blue, followed by Jasjit Hargun (9 ), Eddie Marrero(11 ), and Elliot Chai (12 ). In the boys’ C race, Arden Quan finished 2nd, and Sonya Caro Del Castillo finished 7th in the girls’ C race. Thank you to our cycling coaches Ben Duclos, Sara Parker & Rebecca Bowers.
JV2 girls’ lacrosse kicked off the season versus Pike School on Monday afternoon and earned a 9-7 win! Leading the way offensively were Emma Sharon (1 goal), Lilah Velez (1 goal), and Carys Harvin (2 goals). Goalkeeper Kayla Lyons was named Defensive Player of the Game!
