Softball (pictured above) is off to a spectacular 5-0 start having outscored their opponents 67 runs for and only 6 against. Softball is coached by Lindsay Maroney, Karen Douyon and Eliot Davenport and captained by Ashley Schuman and Rhiana Gomez. After four consecutive games on the road, the team had their home opener v. Milton Academy on Saturday afternoon - getting the job done 17-2 after four innings.

Led by Rihana Gomez '26, 3-for-4 with 2-run home run and 4 RBI, and Victoria MacKenzie '28,, 4-for-4 with 2 RBI, Andover continued its strong start. Ashley Schuman '27 through a hitless 3 innings, striking out 8, before Audrey Gotha '28 came in for the final inning. Both supported their cause, with Schuman collecting a pair of hits and two RBI on the day, with Gotha having a hit and 3 RBI. Gaby Potter '27, Gabby Gillette '28, Maddie Marshall '29, and Morgan McDonough '29 all had hits on the day.

PATF traveled to Taft for the first meet of the spring season. The girls came away with a team win, with the boys finishing second. Highlights included four athletes winning two events each: co-captain Gracie Aziabor ‘26 in the shot put and long jump; Adanna Obi ‘29 in 300m hurdles and triple jump; Sean Pao ‘26 in 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles; and Bennett Rodgers ‘26 in pole vault and triple jump. Julie Chan ’27 broke the class record in the 200m, and Eden Dunleavy ’29 set a new class record in the 400m.Wrapping up the day, the girls’ 4x400m team of Jenna Robertson-Palmer ‘27, Ela Budzinski ‘28, Lauren Signoriello ‘27 and Eden Dunleavy ‘29 broke the 15-year-old school record the event. Running unchallenged for most of the race, they still clocked a time of 4:00.22.

On Saturday, our crew team traveled to Kent School with seven boats and a whole lot of coaches too. We are grateful for our coaching staff who manage a program over 100 students strong: head coaches Taylor Washburn and Kelly Evans alongside assistant coaches, Andy Finch, Amanda Foushee, Zephyr Gilmore, Dale Hurley, Logan Jester, Jose Zorrilla Mantilla, and Ei Smith.

Shout out to our girls’ team (pictured above), captained by Willow Wright and Caroline Romano, for bringing home the Hart Perry Trophy emerging victorious on the day.

Boys’ Ultimate (pictured below) brought home THREE team wins on Saturday afternoon from Northfield Mount Herman play day: Great day: 11-7 over Xavier, 11-2 over NMH, 9-8 over Williston. Thank you coaches, Scott Hoenig and Ben Cashen.
