Today, Phillips Academy senior captain Julian Rios ’26 was recognized as an NBC 10 Boston "Hometown MVP". Just last week, the Stanford recruit surpassed the 100-win plateau during competition at St. Paul’s, setting the tone for what he hopes will be another championship-winning final season.
Rios enters his final season at Andover with a formidable list of accomplishments: he is already a three-time NEPSAC Class A and New England Prep champion, as well as a three-time National Prep All-American.
The segment highlighted not just his stats, but his legacy. "He is probably the best wrestler that we've ever had come through Andover wrestling in our one-hundred-plus year history," Head Coach Kassie Bateman '06 told NBC.
