Family Weekend Caps Off a Great Week

CONGRATULATIONS TO GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL - FIRST WIN OVER PHILLIPS EXETER SINCE 2015

On Wednesday afternoon, PAVB (pictured above) secured its second consecutive win with a thrilling home victory over the Big Red, rebounding after losing the first set (20-25) and then capturing the next three sets to win the match. Special shout-out to our PAVB seniors: Kaliah Fortune, Rhiana Gomez, Hailey Piasecki, Gracie Aziabor, and captains Kate Rodgers and Nneka Ezeike, as well as first-year head coach Brendan Mackinson and assistant coach Lorena Corbelli.

Boys’ Water Polo - coached by Howie Kalter and Hillary Kavanagh celebrated senior day on Friday evening, along with a win over visiting St. John’s Prep. Water polo seniors are captains Oliver Stabach and Ehan Zhu as well as Nathan Egbuna, Brandon Xu, David Porto, and Nicholas Koura (pictured above).

Congrats to JV1 girls’ soccer - coached by Troy Turick and Lakshmi Jai, who picked up their 5th consecutive win, outscoring their opponents by a margin of 28-1. Ellie Patton ‘29 had a hat trick, and Mila Fan and Corrine Friesen added a goal each.

Congratulations to members of Andover Crew who participated in the 2025 Head of the Charles on the Charles River in Boston. Our Andover rowers (pictured below): Yumi Lai ‘27 (coxswain), Kate Birdsall ‘26, Ainsley Muldoon ’26, Caroline Romano ’26, Carsen Leach ‘27, Maddy Lehman ‘27, Toni Elliot ‘27, Willow Wright ‘26, and Cora Rogers ‘27, who finished 35 out of 86 Youth Eight boats - the first of all NEIRA boats across the finish line! Thank you to our coaches, Amanda Foushee, Taylor Washburn, and Andy Finch, for supporting the team! th Congrats as well to Charlie Domina ‘27 for earning 16 in the Youth 8+ as well as Vivien Valckx ‘28 fox coxing the Girls’ U17 4s to a 3 place finish
