After completing an undefeated regular season, boys' varsity tennis earned the number one seed in the New England Prep Class A tournament (see bracket here).
Groton hosted the tournament quarter and semifinal rounds on Saturday, May 19th. Andover extended their strong regular season play into the postseason, cruising through to the finals with 4-0 wins over Hotchkiss and Groton.
On Sunday, Andover hosted second-seeded Taft in the championship match. Despite some tightly contested matches, Big Blue emerged victorious, 4-2.
The postseason will continue next weekend for Chase Burke '25, Kevin Niu '25, Avery Zheng '25, and Jacob Pletka '27 who were invited to compete in the singles tournament of the New England Prep School Invitational Tennis Tournament (NEPSITT), and for Benjamin Shin and Yongen Shen '26 who will compete in the doubles section.
