On Wednesday afternoon, varsity field hockey (PAFH) hosted Middlesex for their annual breast cancer awareness game, a tradition that began in 2010. The two top-tier teams played an exciting game with a 4-1 result in favor of the Big Blue, who remain undefeated this season.

Shout out to all the players for their efforts, and a special thank you to all the Andover and Middlesex parents and fans for making the game so special. PAFH is coached by Kate Dolan, Martha Fenton and Taylor Ware and captained by Regan Driscoll, Kimee Duplessis and Wendi Wei.

JV1 boys’ soccer remain undefeated at home with a 2-0 result on Wednesday versus Concord Academy. A second-half brace by Aksel Kohler '28, with GK Michael Attubato '28 assisting on one of the goals. JV1 boys’ soccer is coached by Joe Nugent and Ben Duclos.

Congrats to girls’ varsity volleyball, who stretched their win streak to 5 games with two victories on the road, Wednesday afternoon at Phillips Exeter (3-1) and again, on Saturday afternoon at NMH (3-0). Varsity volleyball is coached by Brendan Mackinson & Kennetta Roebuck and captained by Ashley Schuman & Selene Xu.

Speaking of on the road, all Big Blue teams headed off campus this weekend - with nine teams off to Northfield Mount Hermon and two teams (varsity football and varsity water polo) to Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT. The journey to NMH was a great success - with the Big Blue coming home with 7 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss.

Girls’ varsity soccer extended their record to 10-1-1 behind the leadership of captains Keaghan Murphy, Lily Loughlean & Adele Russell. Keaghan and Lily (center backs) and Adele (goalkeeper) have been pivotal to the 9 shutouts to date this season. On Saturday, tenth grader Anne Dunn led the effort with 2 goals in a 3-0 win.

JV girls’ soccer, coached by Troy Turick and Laxshmi Jai and captained by Veronica Lewis and Cat Smith, earned their 6 th and 7 th shutout of the week. Across two games, the JV squad tallied 14 goals (!) while conceding zero. In a 9-0 win at NMH, seven different players tallied a goal. Corrine Friesen and Helena Lai had 2 goals apiece, while Gauri Bhakta, Naia Kearins, Maddie Yang, Veronica Lewis, and Abby Duffield also contributed goals.

JV2 boys’ soccer, Varsity and JV field hockey, and JV volleyball also returned home from NMH with WINS!

Enormous gratitude to ALL our coaches who spent nearly all of Saturday traveling on buses and coaching our Big Blue teams. We are thankful for all you do!
