Big Blue shuts out Worcester
The Big Blue faced off against Worcester Academy this Friday night (with parent fans!), earning their third straight win with a 15-0 result. As a great cap on the week and start to the weekend, PA had 11 different players score and 6 teammates netting one assist each. Good team possession and drives to the net led to multiple goals on free-position shots. Isabela Miller '21, Gwyn Lapp '22, Shea Freda '24, and Carly Hopkins '24 led with two goals each: the former three each netting three points on the day. With 9 different players winning ground ball battles and collectively causing 5 Worcester turnovers, the team was able to dominate ball possession time and only allow three shots on net. Goalies Kennedy Everson '21 and Megg Hoffman '23 earned the shutout. Big Blue looks forward to taking on Governor's on Saturday afternoon. Go Blue!
