Boys Tennis sweep Belmont Hill to remain undefeated
Playing a tough squad from Belmont Hill, Boys’ tennis posted their most impressive win of the year, as they swept all six singles and three doubles to take the match 7-0. Senior Captains Aidan Burt and Mac Katkavitch won a thrilling doubles match to start the afternoon, with senior co-captain Hudson Elegant and Alex Zhu winning their doubles match to secure the point. Juniors Eddie Wang and Jeremy Liao also came back to win their match to complete the sweep in doubles.
In Singles, Aidan Burt came back from 0-3 down to win 12 consecutive games and take the match against his tough opponent. Hudson Elegant posted his most impressive victory of the year, winning 6-0, 6-0. And to round the trio of senior captains, Mac Katkavitch cruised to a 6-3, 6-3 victory to cement the victory for the boys.
In the remaining singles matches, the Boys team showcased its promising future. Junior Kian Burt won in straight sets, and junior Eddie Wang and lower Alex Zhu each gutted out three set victories to complete the team sweep.
Boys’ tennis moved to 5-0 for three year and will host Exeter on Saturday.
