Playing at Deerfield, Andover wins its third match in four days to stay undefeated!
Playing its first road match of the season, Andover boys earned a decisive 6-1 win against a tough Deerfield team. In singles, Ethan Wong ‘23 won 6-2, 6-1 at #1; Eddie Wang ‘24 won 6-3, 6-1 at #2; Avery Zheng ‘25 won 6-4, 6-4 at #3; Jeremy Liao ‘24 won 6-2, 6-4 at #4; Kevin Niu ‘25 won 6-4, 4-6 1-0 (10-5) at #5; and Harry Murphy ‘24 had a hard luck loss at #6: 6-3, 3-6, 0-1 (8-10).
Earlier, Andover had taken the doubles point with Eddie and Jeremy winning 8-2 at #2 and Avery and Kevin winning 8-0 at #3.
The boys get a well-earned rest before they defend their 6-0 record at home against Groton on Friday, April 29.
