The Andover Boys' team moved to 2-0 for the season with a dramatic 4-3 win at home against perennial tennis powerhouse Brunswick. After losing the doubles point, Andover quickly took a 2-1 lead with decisive victories from #2 Eddie Wang (6-2, 6-1) and #5 Avery Zheng (6-0, 6-0). Co-Captain Alex Zhu then pulled out a third set super tie-breaker to bring Andover's lead to 3-1. After Brunswick clawed back with two tough victories at #1 and #4, the overall match was tied at 3-3 to put the pressure on the final match of the day; #6 Jeremy Liao played a rollercoaster match that began outside but moved indoors as the sun came down during the third set super tie-breaker. Steeling the pressure, Jeremy pulled off the decisive victory in the set to give Andover the win at 4-3!
