Andover bounces back with a 7-0 victory against Brooks to move to 8-2

Back at home, Andover defeated Brooks in convincing fashion, with a 7-0 victory. Playing both #1 singles and doubles, Eddie Wang ‘24 won 6-3, 6-1 in singles and teamed with Chase Burke ‘25 to win 8-0 in doubles. Burke added a win of his own at #5 singles 6-4, 6-1.

Co-captain Alex Zhu ‘23 also led the charge with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #2 singles and paired with Jeremy Liao ‘24 for a 8-3 victory at #2 doubles.

Avery Zheng ‘25 and Kevin Niu ‘25 won their doubles match 8-3, with Kevin going on also to win in singles in straight sets. Mason McCormack ‘23, on super short notice, stepped up big to win at #6 singles, alsoin straight sets.

Finally, co-captain Kian Burt ‘24 shook off some rust to win 7-6 (5), 6-1 at #3 singles.


Andover moves to 8-2 before traveling away to Choate tomorrow.
