In front of 300 raucous fans, the Big Blue wrestlers dropped a 54-21 loss to a tough NMH squad
The Big Blue wrestling team took on a tough NMH Hogger squad in a rare home dual meet on Friday night in front of a raucous crowd estimated at 300 fans. Performances by the Andover Drumline and the national anthem sung by Henry Crater ’20 added to the festive atmosphere. On the mat, pins by Captain Pierce Bausano ’18 and John O’Brien ’17 staked the Blue to an early 18-12 lead. Alas, the heart of the NMH order took control, and despite a victory by Haroldo Nesbeth ’17, Andover fell to NMH, 54-21. Andover’s record falls to 3-2, and 0-2 in the Class “A” league.
