The Boys Varsity B tennis program places emphasis on building fundamental skills, developing advanced strategies, improving physical fitness, and displaying the highest standards of sportsmanship. The team plays both the varsity teams from smaller schools and JV teams from larger schools.
While winning is clearly a primary goal, we also strive to develop an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. The team is typically comprised of a mixture of returning Varsity B players, players who have moved up from the JV, and players with a significant tennis background who are new to the school. By the end of the season, several of the players will be in a good position to move up to the Varsity A team the following season.
