After narrowly escaping with the doubles point, playing outside, the Boys Varsity earned a well-contested victory by taking five singles matches, three of which were finished indoors in the Snyder Center, darkness intervening.

Doubles: Gura/Johnson (Andover) beat Rose/Lee, 9-8 (3); Burt/Kralik (Andover) tied Atkinson/Pratt (7-7, unfinished); Katkavich/McDonnell (Andover) beat Crosier/Ankner, 9-7. SINGLES: Gura (Andover) beat Rose, 6-4, 6-2; Burt (Andover) and Lee unfinished; Johnson (Andover) beat Atkinson, 6-0, 7-6 (5); Kralik (Andover) beat Pratt, 6-1, 6-4; Katkavich (Andover) beat Crosier, 6-3, 6-1; Elegant (Andover) beat Westphal, 6-2, 6-3. Particularly impressive was Aidan Burt's gutsy comeback in set one against Jae Lee from 0-5. Milton proved a tough foe, with quality play up and down their lineup, showing resilience in darkening conditions and in changing to our indoor facility. We were delighted to come away with such a good win!
