Jackson Emus '19 struck out nine, walked none, and surrendered just one run on three hits as Andover improved to 16-2 with a 3-1 non-league win over defending Independent School League Champion St. Sebastian's School.

Emus '19 EMUS (pictured) set visiting St. Sebastian's down in order in each of the first three innings and carried a no-hitter into the fourth.

Mike Guanci '18 singled home Sam Conte '18 in the third to put Andover up 1-0. After St. Seb's knotted the score 1-1, Andover reclaimed the lead in the fifth when Joe Simourian '18 walked, advanced on a Kai Marcos '18 groundout, stole third, and then raced home on an errant throw. Tristan Latham '19 then capped the scoring at 3-1 in the sixth with an RBI single, driving home pinch runner Peter Ling '20.

Andrew Ciufo '19, Jack Penney '21, Lucas Stowe '20, and Marcos, joined Guanci and Latham in the hits column to help pace the offense. Andover's defense, meanwhile, played errorless baseball.
